楼主应该写信告诉他的房东事情的经过，告诉他的老板他的为人，告诉自己身边的朋友小心他。

It is merely my suggestion, I guess as a lawyer, drafting is our most important skill.  We have to be responsible for everything we write.  Well, good luck with your study and all the best with your legal career.

其实朋友之间借东西是可以理解的，但是还要走一些基本程序。 比如说写下来车子是从何时开始借的，然后大概归还日期是什么时候，最重要一点是写下对方驾照号和留下复印件。最后借方应写下对接车期间出现责任的声明。 我们都很年轻，不能说吃亏是福，但是下次你就知道该怎么样保护自己的权益了。 祝你好运

I am a law graduate from UTAS as well.  Just a suggestion, you may want to improve your English prior obtaining your practicing certificate.  Maybe you can at least spell the word 'lawyer' correctly, I don't think 'lawers' is the right spelling.  

Good luck and enjoy it, it is very challenging but also very rewarding to practice law.

其实借车不是不行，还是得看人。有些人就是小人，平时一点小事都和你计较半天的，千万不能借，要是这个人还不错，热心帮助别人，比较善良，平时帮了你很多，也是个负责任的人，朋友也比较多，还是可以借的。
