not agree with this part. Many programming gurus are western people instead of chinese !

I have seen so many western people who love programming and their skills are good too!

Well, I have been working in the IT industry for only 12 years, so I can not be sure if I could be considered an IT前辈 :-)

I agree with you ... but I never said that *all* western people hate programming. The point I wanted to make is that because *most* people in Australia do not like programming, it's then easier for us to apply for IT related jobs in this country. You are lucky if you are interested in IT.

By the way, there are more Chinese and Russian IT gurus in this world.

I only worked 66 months

老话题了....从市场角度也是一个原因..

不过另外一个原因大家都很清楚,不用想都知道了..

很多人读IS是因为好读...容易过..不是为了真正学一门知识...

一个想读书的人, 读哪门都差不到哪去, 当然没天份就做不了天才了..

不是故意伤害某些人,只是想给那些准备换一个"容易"的专业的学生们提个醒,容易毕业不容易找工作..

为什么说到COMMUNICATION,ENGLISH..就是IS找工作的弱势了?难道COMPUTING不需要说话了?那ACCOUNTING的,MARKETING的,LAWYER的就不用吃饭了吗?在本岛有那么多大公司的中高层都是非英语母语的, 街上那些失业的整天嚷嚷标准F**k的都是英语母语的~
念书的要选择自己擅长的,兴趣的和自己职业规划最贴近的.
找工作的先把抱怨专业不好,非母语这些情绪先放放,做点务实的事情.多找机会去锻炼交流能力.虽然不是念IS的,但其实我觉得IS课程挺好的,工作几年再念会更好.
