What are the best ways to learn English?

Just wondering, what are the best ways to learn English?
I think watching TV and listening radio are just some of the great ways.  I however only watch SBS and ABC, I think news and documentary are really helping.  Turn to SBS 6.30PM, it has a great world news program.

Do you have broad band and iPod?  If you do, PodCast is also a great method to enhance your skill.  I listen to my iPod everyday, generally BBC world news, World have your say, Documentaries series, Radio Europe Network and Radio Germany.  

If you have one of those old fashion radio at home and you have a car.  Why don't you turn your radio to AM747, the ABC news radio also brings you real news and good radio program around the world.  

Reading also helps.

oh...there is another one i have to mention is practise, and build up the confidence on English, especially oral English

Of course, there is nothing more important then practice.  Practice makes perfect.

i used to learn my english just by watching movie...

although all of them are american english, but its the same anyway...

and im loving those american hip-hop style english speaking...its just so cool....

"sup bro, man...y'all....dude...and so on"

not like here, "gd day mate...buddy...mate..." ha...

but get used to "mate" already thou....

Totally agree, best news service in Australia.
