Teaching piano/keyboard $50 per hour

Ting is anexperienced private piano (classical) teacher. She is currently teachingChinese in a primary school in VIC, and doing PHD at university of Tasmania.She completed Bachelor of Teaching with Honours (2nd upper) in 2008 and Masterof Education in TESOL at UniTAS in 2006, Bachelor of Arts (Piano Performance inMusic Education) at He Bei Normal University in China in 1994. She has beenteaching students piano⁄keyboard since 1992. She learned from Shan Deng(pianist, lecturer, and sub-dean) at Conservatorium in University of Tasmania from 2004 to 2005.Ting performs Beethoven’s Pathetique and Moonlight sonatas, Chopin’sRevolutionary Etude and many music pieces of Waltz, Rachmaninoff’s Op. 3,Mozart’s A Major sonata (K. 331), Czerny’s Etudes books of No.139, 599, 849,299, and 740. Ting is familiar with books of John Thompson, Alfred, Hanon andBeyer for teaching students. Ting has been teaching students who had passed AMEB level 5 before. Students should have already got a piano⁄keyboardand one or two books before starting the lesson. Teach in student’s house onceper week or once a fortnight, and $50 per hour.
