apple picking worker wanted

Starting date: very soon, between 27 Feb to 3 March

Time:

Apple Picking usually lasts 2 months or 9-10 weeks.

Pay:

Horticultural Award 2010 Piecework Rates for the 2015 Season;

Apples Strip Picked $35.89 per bin

Apples Picked Over – Colour & Size $39.88 per bin

Accommodation:

• Nearest backpackers is 30 minutes by car (Launceston)
• Some camping on farm, must have tent& gas cooker. Limited bunk accommodation, must have own sleeping bag, access to cooking facilities. Campers/Bunk Accommodation   have access to fridge, shower, toilet & washing machine.
  

Location:

Top Qual, Calthorpe Orchard,293 Valley Road Sidmouth 7270, Tasmania

Valley Road located off Batman Highway, West Tamar Valley, Northern Tasmania

Prepare for work with:

• High level of fitness,able to pass medical examination if required
• Hydrate, drink plenty of water
• Heeled boots for ladder work, no fear of heights
• Sun protection clothing – Hat & cotton shirt with collar & sleeves.
• Wet weather jacket useful
