With the world’s first Ferrari theme park set to open in Abu Dhabi later this year, the group behind its development have released a few tantalising facts about its creation.
Covering more than 100,000 square metres, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi will be the world’s largest indoor park with a huge number of high octane attractions.
The highlight is a new rollercoaster which will be the fastest in the world – travelling at more than 200km/h to simulate the feeling of being behind the wheel of a Ferrari Formula 1 car.
Elsewhere in the park, visitors can strap themselves in to state-of-the-art racing simulators which use a similar system as those used by the Ferrari racing team.
Its roof structure has been inspired by the classic double curve side profile of the Ferrari GT body and boasts a surface area of more than 200,000 square metres, adorned by the largest Ferrari logo ever created at 65 metres high by 48.5 metres wide. |
