刚收到学校发的Visa Scam (trick): Don't be Fooled!
Dear Students, Recently some international students have received phone calls from somebody who says they work for the Australian Government. The students have been asked to pay a fee to fix their “CISA Number” or their visa will be cancelled. Sometimes the caller will have personal information, which can make them sound more convincing. This is not true. There is no such thing as a “CISA Number.” This is a scam – a trick to get money from you. If you receive a phone call like this, you should hang up without talking to the caller. The Department of Immigration and Citizenship does not call people to ask for payment or personal information. Never give your personal information over the phone or agree to make a payment. If you receive a phone call like this or any other phone call that you are confused about, please come and talk to us about it.
