塔州政府反种族歧视部门需要大家帮助填写调查

这里的小孩跟年轻人真的是特别没有教育
偶从第一天到塔州，就被一个20多岁的人从车上飞来一句”Fuking xx"
还有有一次（2006）在从Eastland回City的路上，在车上一帮中学女学生跑来一直“ohayo~ohayo~"
然后问我跟朋友是不是日本人
结果我们一说不是，他们就一直开骂，说是不是自己国家养不起我们
为什么要跑来这里，还要我们快点回去
当时候真的已经气得无言
车中一帮鬼佬里面还有不同国籍的人都不知道该说什么
最后还是那位Local司机停车大骂，他们不下车就报警才解决

很多朋友都说塔州这里Eastern Shore跟New town以上的人很没文化，歧视也很严重
不过感觉最近好像没有从前严重

I agree, it happens, but it really doesn't happen very often.  Put this way, one of my SGT in the army was abused when he was helping out on the centre link open day.  He is a local as well.  I can say if you speak Chinese really loud in public place, it is more likely you will get some racist people.  Imagine if 5-6 people around you speaking something you have no idea with.  Nevertheless, I wouldn't worry about it.  I have never experience different treatment in the army and I feel even those people in some poor suburbs are starting to change their view.

I think it is happen quite often.

if u walking in the street at night around the sandybay area with your glasses, or when you lift your shopping plastic bags walking slowly in the street.

It may something happen on you .

偶上次看到老外从山上下来，载了堆雪。从车窗里向行人砸雪球。只能说明他们素质了，并非歧视～

看来下次上街手上要拿手雷。谁丢鸡蛋，就丢谁

当然不是。只是说那是你一个人的例子。你可以每天晚上10点后都去主要街道上徒步逛逛，那个时候几率比较高。如果你真的很走运，那么平时留意一下地上的鸡蛋痕迹

I have no doubt it occurrs, but I don't believe they are targeting Asians.  Even they want to, it is diffucult to define Asians from the locals while you are driving in the night from a car.  It is an act of few individual, I personally feel safer in Hobart than most other places in Australia.  
Further, I have worked in organisation where in the past almost have no Asians, I never got any problems as well.  
Lastly, I generally only walk or catching bus when I was in the high school and college, it rarly occrred back than.  What I am saying is it does occur, but to my experience it does not occur that often.  Mind you, the act of throwing eggs is considered criminal offence.  I have see people end up in prison while I was in the court.  If it happens to you again, maybe you should remember the number plate and report it to the police.
