Winterbrook Falls - a mushrooms and fungi journey

These photos were taken in April 2011 in Winterbrook Falls. Millie, Dudley, my husband and me went camping and bush walking there. I have never seen so many varieties of mushrooms and fungi anywhere else in Tasmania.

This is a deserted wooden tramway, built by early timber fellers. The area was sawn for the prized King Billy Pine.


This is Preston Falls, not part of Winterbrook Falls. It is very easy to get there, just a 5 minutes walk from the road to the viewing platform.
