Snow shoeing and building an igloo on Ben Lomond
本帖最后由 ceciliachiu 于 2013-11-5 22:49 编辑On 24 August 2013, a very cold day with heavy snow on high grounds, my husband and a friend went show shoeing on Ben Lomond and built an igloo, planning to spend a night there. I wasn't there though I would very much like to (I was in Hong Kong at that time).

Off they went for a walk and it started to get dark

The weather got warmer and warmer; the snow and ice started to melt and the structure became unstable.

After some futile attempts to fix the structure, they decided to find their way back to the car even though it was already dark.
